Zombie Erotica by Tamsin Flowers (@TamsinFlowers)

thingsthatgohump300x200Hi,

First of all, thank you so much, KD, for hosting this amazing October spooky, bumpy, humpy blogfest! I love that Hallowe’en gives us a month-long excuse to celebrate all things scary and – in this case – sexy, too!

Paranormal erotica has been huge in recent years – you can hardly move on Amazon for heart-stopping vampires and super-sexy shifters. I’ve even got my own red hot vampire series on the go – check out The Crimson Bond and The Scarlet Bond if you’re a fan of the blood suckers.

But today I want to bring to your attention as less well appreciated corner of paranormal erotica – zombie erotica! Proponents of zombie erotica are few and far between but you really owe it to yourself to investigate the phenomenon further. Could I perhaps encourage you to read my little collection, Zombie Erotoclypse?

UGH!

Yes, I heard you, loud and clear. No one wants to imagine having sex with a zombie. Arms and legs dropping off in the middle of getting down and dirty? And that shuffling walk simply isn’t sexy. I know. Really, I do. I wouldn’t want to have sex with a zombie, either.

But… you’ve made an assumption here. That all the sex in Zombie Erotoclypse is zombie sex! Zombies banging away at zombies till they break each other. Nuh-uh! There’s plenty of hot, sultry, life-affirming, human-on-human, did-I-mention-hot, steamy sex between HUMANS in these pages. (Yes, okay, there is the odd snippet of zombie sex – but not with zombies who are literally falling apart.) (Well, okay, there is that one moment…)

Oh, whatever! Here’s an excerpt of sizzling human sex just to tempt you in… (And if you leave comment after, I’ll put your name in the hat for a free copy of Zombie Erotoclypse, to be drawn on Hallowe’en!)

zombie2Excerpt from Red Hot Zombie Cock, from Zombie Erotoclypse

Skylar’s finger traces a line down my upper arm and I turn to look at him.  In the pale sunlight he looks vibrantly alive.  Healthy.  And everything a zombie’s not, with his white blond hair and deep tan.  His eyes always look deeper blue by the ocean and I have a sudden urge for some life affirmation of my own.

I roll onto my side and stretch out an arm to take hold of the back of his neck.  He comes to me as easily as if he’s been expecting it and when our lips meet they’re already open.  He’s as hungry for it as I am and he pushes me onto my back and moves on top.  The bulge I’d felt earlier in the club is firmer now as he rubs his hips against mine.

I push my tongue deep into Skylar’s mouth to explore.  I’ve been here before, drunk, at family weddings before the First Wave, even when I thought he was an odious little shit in comparison to my teen-girl sophistication.  But this is different.  Back then, I was just tasting boy.  Now I’m tasting Skylar and I like the flavor, I decide, as tiny shivers run up and down inside me.  His hands slide up inside the wet shirt, a warm touch in contrast to the cool water, firm and reassuring.  Yes, I’m alive and so is he.

He pushes the fabric up to bunch under my chin and then drops his mouth down to my breasts.  I arch up at him, not caring that we’re out in the open, not caring that I’m rubbing sand into the back of my hair.  I grasp his shoulders and surrender to the pull of his tongue and the gentle pressure of his teeth against my nipple.  Unbidden, my hips tell him what I need and, without taking his mouth away, without interrupting the insistent thrum of pleasure building within me, he snakes one hand down between us to release the tops of our pants.  My own hands get involved and then we’re in a sudden frenzy of unbuttoning, unzipping and wrenching wet denim down each other’s legs.

Skylar laughs, the clear sound of it ringing out in the morning quiet and I can’t help but smile.

“Will I do instead of that hot zombie cock?”

I answer with my hand, swooping down between us to find his cock and guiding it to where I want it.  It feels so unbelievably good against my palm I can hardly bear to let go of it, but when I push its velvety head against my pussy, it’s suddenly easy to let it go.  Skylar raises himself above me on his arms and then gently pushes his way into me, sending a spasm of excitement through my clenching muscles and a flurry of fire rolling along my nerves.  I rake my hands through his pale hair and pull his mouth back to mine.

Tamsin Flowers Talks about The Crimson Bond

Hi,Studio shot

I hope you’ve all survived Christmas without sinking in a sea of brandy butter or being overwhelmed by a… what is the collective noun for a Brussels sprout? And I particularly hope that Santa brought you everything you wanted – world peace, goodwill among all men and a brand new e-reader that you can fill up with smut!

And, coincidentally, talking of which, I’ve brought a short excerpt from my latest release, The Crimson Bond. It’s a sizzling, red-hot vampire tale, an eternal triangle of love, lust and passion between three wayward vampires who can’t get enough of each other… In other words, just the ticket if you’ve had enough of seasonal cheer, turkey and pantomimes!

Enjoy!

Willow Jackson develops an unhealthy obsession Etienne Corbeau; little does she realise he’s a suave, sophisticated vampire.  After appearing in her dreams, Willow is astounded to find Etienne in her room for real and even more shocked when, in the throes of a passion she can’t resist, he sinks his teeth into her neck and drinks her blood.

But Etienne is greedy and to save Willow’s life, his wife Elouise forces her to drink vampire blood.  From this moment Willow is herself a vampire, forming an unbreakable bond with Elouise which forces her to choose between the beautiful new vampire and her husband of two centuries.

As Willow learns to tame her bloodlust and vampire sex carries her to new heights of physical pleasure, Elouise is snatched away from her.  The battle lines are drawn: now she and Etienne will fight for possession of the woman they both love…

Excerpt

“Don’t be angry with me, Willow,” he said. “Your effect on me is so strong I can’t control myself when you’re around.”

That much was true and it was a feeling Willow had come to understand.

“Even now? Now I’m a vampire like you?”

Etienne brushed a hand down her jaw with unexpected tenderness.

“More now, Willow.”

His body was close to hers and as he looked down at her face his warm breath tickled her cheeks. She breathed in deeply to catch the scent of him and it didn’t disappoint. Low in her gut, muscles tightened and a shiver ran through her.

“Your bond with Elouise doesn’t stop you…” Her voice was ragged and she didn’t know how to finish what she intended to say.

“A vampire’s bond is mental, rather than physical.” His voice was low, practically a whisper.

She felt his hand on her breast, warm through the thin cotton of her T-shirt. Her knees turned to water and as she slumped against him, he lowered her gently to the ground. She was weak with lust, so overpowering she could hardly breath. But it was different from the bloodlust she felt when she was close to the girls on the ranch. This feeling, burning in her loins and spreading through her body, was a pure, sexual need—the full expression of the mere glimmers she’d experienced when she was still human and she’d lusted after him from afar.

“Etienne…”

They were both kneeling, facing each other. He pulled at the bottom of her T-shirt and she obligingly lifted her arms as he pulled it up over her head. His every touch felt like a burn on her skin but it was a sensation she couldn’t get enough of. As soon as her arms were free of the shirt, she tore at his, not caring as the buttons flew off and landed in the long grass.

She pressed her body against his, her softness against the firm, rough surface of his chest. She gasped and once again their mouths locked together. He tasted sweet and she felt a compulsion to make herself one with him, her tongue thrusting deep as her body pressed harder still against the length of his. His hands raked through her hair and drew her head back, angling her mouth all the better against his. Then she felt a hand dropping down her back and sliding under the waistband of her jeans. The sensation of his firm hand sliding down her cheek, one finger straying along the crack between her buttocks, elicited a low groan, deep in her throat, and she raked her nails down his back.

With a cry that might have been pain or pleasure or both, Etienne pushed her roughly back onto the grass. His hands scrabbled desperately at the fastening of her jeans and, seconds, later he ripped them down her thighs, scraping them over her knees and off. He buried his face between her legs, taking deep, rasping breaths of her scent, and then she felt his fingers prying their way into her willing sex. Her lips slipped open with a rush of hot juice and Etienne grunted as first his fingers explored her deeply and then his tongue found its way inside her.

Willow writhed beneath his touch but fought the sensations threatening to sweep her away. She longed to feel all of him insider her, so she reached down to his shoulders to pull him up.

He shook off her grasp and lifted his head to look at her.

“You can have both,” he whispered, his fingers still drumming a magical rhythm deep inside her.

“I want everything,” she said, returning his gaze.

“It’s all yours.”

Tamsin Flowers’ The Christmas Tattoo – Awash with the Seasonal Feel-Good Factor

The Christmas TattooThere’s something about Christmas that gets to me. For 11 months of the year, I’m probably the least sentimental person you’ll meet and then, for the month of December, I transform into something soggy, sniveling and over-sentimental. Sit me down in front of Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye singing ‘We’ll follow the old man’ in White Christmas and I’m gone. James Stewart in It’s A Wonderful Life – pass the tissues! Show me a John Lewis Christmas ad and I’m welling up. It doesn’t take much.

So around Christmas, I like to read something with the feel-good factor. This is the time of year for happy endings – the snow falls in White Christmas; George Bailey is reunited with his family in It’s A Wonderful Life and the bear wakes up for Christmas Day in the commercial. Oops – just thinking about it is enough to make my eyes tear up. And I want the same from a book if I’m reading it December.

Anyway, when I decided to write a Christmas erotic romance, I wanted to capture some of that feel-good emotion that makes Christmas what it is. Of course, it’s not all plain sailing and my two main characters have plenty of obstacles standing in the way of true love – a curmudgeon of a father, an ex boyfriend who reappears, a pregnant business partner, jealousy, tears and fights. But I don’t think it’s too much of spoiler to give away that The Christmas Tattoo has a happy ending.

After all, I couldn’t do otherwise at this time of year, could I?

Excerpt

Colt Bassett’s legs turned to water as he bent in low enough for his lips to brush against Bradie’s.  He’d kissed those lips once before, briefly, and he’d never forgotten how they’d tasted.  He’d dreamt of kissing them again a million times and now, when he thought the flame he’d been carrying for her for over a decade had at last gone out, she’d walked back into his life. Right into his studio, asking for a tattoo.  Her eyes asking for a kiss.

His lips brushed hers, tentative at first.  He’d made mistakes with her before but he knew he was reading the signals right this time; a decade of experience had taught him what to look for.  Her pupils were dilated, her lips parted and a little moist.  Her breathing uneven.  He put a hand along her jaw to hold her still as his mouth moved over hers and he sensed the subtle arching of her back and tilting of her head to give him better access.

Her kiss tasted immediately familiar, her lips as soft and yielding as he remembered.  He swallowed and wondered whether he dared plunge his tongue into her mouth.  The thought of it sent a spasm of lust up through his cock, had his heart pounding against his chest and his balls throbbing in his shorts.  He knew he was reaching the point of no return; either draw back or take things forward.  He tried to read Bradie’s expression but her eyes were shut.  When her hand snaked up around the back of his neck, he recognized an invitation to continue, so he slowly traced the line of her lips with the tip of his tongue.

She rewarded him with a soft mewl from deep within her throat; she wanted this as much as he did.  Her mouth opened and then her tongue pressed against his, pushing into his mouth and intensifying his need to take things further.  She tasted of sweet coffee and he pushed back against her to find his way into her mouth; their tongues slipping past each other to explore at leisure.  Her back arched more and he gripped the back of her neck to pull her in against him.  Soft breasts touched his chest as her jacket fell open; he could feel her nipples pebbling hard through the thin fabric of her blouse.  He raised his other hand and brought it up to the side of her breast…

A bell rang.  A door slammed.

Fuck!  Someone had come into the shop.

“Colt?  Are you back there?”

Shit, Saskia!

Excerpt:

Brigit loved the seaside. She always had, probably because visiting it was a rarity. Living in the centre of England meant that even the nearest seaside town was over an hour and a half away—and the nice resorts even further.

Which was why her boyfriend, Allen, proposed a long weekend in Brighton. He knew how fond she was of the seaside. Unsurprisingly, she agreed delightedly.

“It’s a long way,” she said. “But it doesn’t matter. We’d never go anywhere if we lamented the length of the journey.”

As it happened, the travelling wasn’t too bad. Miraculously the M1 was clear all the way down to the M25—and even that notorious motorway wasn’t experiencing its usual havoc. A straight shot south on the M23, then the A23 took them towards Brighton, and they navigated the one-way systems and lack of road signs and—eventually—found their hotel.

“Wow,” Brigit said, stretching luxuriously after getting out of the car, “that didn’t take as long as I thought. Shall we check in, dump our bags and go and explore?”

“Sounds like a plan to me,” Allen replied with a grin.

They slammed their respective car doors, grabbed the bags from the boot and headed into the hotel. Fifteen minutes later, after using the toilet and freshening up, they were back outside.

“Nice choice of hotel, babe. I like it.” Brigit said.

“I’m glad. I researched it well,” Allen replied.

“The bed looks nice and comfy.”

“Well, I’m sure we’ll be able to give it a decent road test later.” He winked at her, and got a slap on the arm for his trouble.

“You’ve got a one-track mind, you have.”

“Well, what do you expect when I’ve got a girlfriend that looks like you?”

She giggled. “Charmer.”

“That’s me. Okay, now I’m back in good books,” Allen said, “what do you want to do? Now, I mean. Not at bedtime.” He waggled his eyebrows.

Brigit stuck her tongue out at him before replying. “I dunno. Just look around I guess. Get our bearings. See what there is to do around here.”

They walked hand-in-hand towards the seafront, then along it in the direction of the pier. They passed the burnt out shell of the West Pier, and Brigit wondered aloud whether it would ever be rebuilt or demolished. Or would the blackened skeleton be left there forevermore, a reminder of what once was.

Soon, they drew close to Brighton Pier. Brigit turned to Allen with a grin.

“What?” he said, then followed her almost manic gaze down the length of the pier, towards a building with fake turret-type things and some very real flags. He sighed. He couldn’t be sure from here, but he thought it was bound to be the amusement arcade. “Oh, you want to go in there, do you? I wonder why?” His voice was laden with sarcasm in his last sentence.

“You know damn well why. Come on!” Brigit tugged him along the last few metres of the pavement and onto the wooden slats of the pier. “Ooh, we can have fish and chips when we come out, if you want.”
